SQUIRE: A new member or an inactive member.
  • Requires: Brief Interview by an Officer leading to an invitation from an Officer.
  • Duties: Exhibit behavior befitting an Ordo Fidelis member.
  • Priviliges: Guild membership and access to Guild Chat and Forums.

KNIGHT: An established member of Ordo Fidelis.
  • Requires: "Signing" of the Code of Conduct forum thread, and two weeks minimum at the Squire rank without breaking the Code of Conduct.
  • Duties: In addition to Squire Duties, demonstrate the honor and loyalty of Ordo Fidelis to others.
  • Priviliges: In addition to Squire privileges, access to the Guild Bank and Public Note.
  • May be demoted to Squire after six months of inactivity or for breaking the Code of Conduct.


CASTELLAN & CAVALIER: A non-officer rank of distinction and leadership.

    CASTELLAN: A rank to distinguish long term and distinguished members.
  • Requires: A minimum of one month at the Knight Rank without breaking the Code of Conduct, at least one character of level 60 or greater, the demonstrated ability to answer questions and give advice in a constructive way (both in game and on the forums), distinguished representation of Ordo Fidelis and its ideals, and an interview with at least one Templar.
  • Duties: Squire duties, Knight duties, help Officers to enforce the Code of Conduct, provide advice on the forums on online when asked, and continue to represent the best of what Ordo Fidelis is meant to be.
  • Privileges: In addition to Squire and Knight privileges, Permanent access to Vent (while at Castellan rank or higher) and access to Castellan/Cavalier Forums.
  • May be demoted to Knight after two months of inactivity or for breaking the Code of Conduct.


    CAVALIER: A rank for endgame ready characters.

  • Requires: A member at Castellan Rank can have their Maxed Level character(s) promoted to Cavalier as an indication that this character is ready to raid endgame progression. You may petition for this rank and raid leaders may advocate on your behalf. Ultimate promotion is at the sole discretion of the Templars.
  • Duties: Cavaliers are expected to show up for raids on time and prepared to raid, research fights as instructed by raid leaders, strive to improve gear but not at the detriment of others, maintain two specs including at least one viable raid spec with gear & skill to match, strive to be on the cutting edge of rotations and skills, use vent politely and efficiently, take criticism as an opportunity to improve and give criticism without aggression. work as a team by following instructions and staying on task but also by being adaptable when required, be willing to admit when outside circumstances (crappy computer, curfews, etc.) might interfere with raiding and accept Castellan rank until things return to normal.
  • Privileges: In addition to Squire, Knight and Castellan privileges, preferred invitations to endgame raids.
  • May be demoted to Castellan when endgame content advances, if performance slips for an extended period, or for failing to live up to the requirements needed to properly function during endgame raids.
CRUSADER: An officer rank, primarily leadership and recruitment.
  • Requires: AA minimum of three months at the Cavalier Rank without breaking the Code of Conduct, invitation and interview by existing Templars, and an expressed commitment to stay with Ordo Fidelis long-term.
  • Duties: Squire duties, Knight duties, new member recruitment, conflict arbitration when a Templar is unavailable, enforcement of the Code of Conduct, and organization of Guild Runs and Guild Events.
  • Privileges: In addition to Squire, Knight, and Cavalier priviliges, access to Officer Chat, access to Officer Forums, and the ability to invite new members.
  • May be demoted to Cavalier after one month of inactivity or for breaking the Code of Conduct.


TEMPLAR: An officer rank, in charge of guild management.
  • Requires: Guild Founder or Special Consideration
  • Duties: All duties of other ranks and more.
  • Priviliges: All privileges of other ranks and the responsibility to promote (and demote) members.
  • May be demoted only by unanimous decision of the other Templars.

MAGISTRATE: Essentially the same as Templar.

  • Ordo Fidelis is governed by a council of Templars and not by any single person. The World of Warcraft Guild System requires a single person to found the guild charter and as such we have the rank of Magistrate. The rank of Magistrate can be held by any Templar, and does not include any special privileges or duties.
